A KIND hearted schoolgirl from Chirk is to donate her hair to a charity.

Daisy Morris is to donate between seven and nine inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provide real hair wigs to children and young people with hair loss.

The 13-year-old, who goes to Ysgol Dinas Bran, is to have the haircut at Inspire Hair Studio in Chirk on July 20.

He proud mum Rachael Morris told the Leader: "We have been talking about it for a long time and she decided that if she had it cut, she wanted it to go to a good cause.

"Her friend did it a while ago and I think that definitely inspired her to do it.

"I'm very excited for her, I think it will be an amazing thing to do. She's a bit nervous and excited as well - she's had long hair for a long.

Daisy has so far raised £100 in sponsorship pledges and she is hoping to raise more.

Mrs Morris said any donations for her hair cut can be given in at Inspire Hair Studio.

She added: "Dairy is hoping to raise as much as possible - I'm really proud of her."
