EMERGENCY services were called to Buckley town centre after a man was injured in a hit and run.
North Wales Police received a call just after 1.20pm on Friday reporting an incident in Brunswick Road.
Witnesses reported to the police that a man, believed to be in his late 20s, was struck by a silver/grey Mazda, which left the scene in the direction of Padeswood Road.
A spokesman fore the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called on Friday 21 June at approximately 13:18 to reports of a person being hit by a vehicle which didn’t stop in Buckley.
"We responded with one rapid response vehicle and one ambulance. One patient was transported by road ambulance to Maelor General Hospital in Wrexham.”
