A DRIVER has been described as “lucky to be alive” after his car flipped over in Gwersyllt last night.
The incident took place on Mold Road around 11pm on Thursday, June 6, with just the one vehicle involved.
However, it became apparent afterwards that the driver of the white BMW had no insurance on the car. He was reported and the vehicle was subsequently recovered.
Mold Road was temporarily closed whilst police and a recovery truck cleared the vehicle but reopened shortly after midnight.
PC Thomas Hough of North Wales Police tweeted:
“One vehicle RTC Mold Road Gwersyllt @wrexham male very lucky to be alive however it turns out he has no insurance!! Make reported and vehicle recovered, Road is just about to re-open #ThankYou @NWPRPU.”
