PUPILS had some special visitors to their Friday assembly.
Arfon Jones, Police and Crime Commissioner for Wales, and Lucie Nikolic from Wrexham HomeStart, visited Gwersyllt Community Primary School to present prizes to two pupils.
The children had entered a logo design competition for the ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Champion Project group in Wrexham.
The competition was judged by HomeStart families and was not an easy task. After a great deal of deliberation they chose runner-up Cole Richards and winner Liam Hartley.
Jacqueline O'Toole, assistant headteacher at the school, is part of the Wrexham ACE group which has representation from different sectors across Wrexham.
The children's logos will be included on any future documents the group produce.
