MEN AGED 40 and over will be able to take advantage of a free prostate cancer screening.
The test, which involves a simple blood test, is for men who live in the Hope, Caergwrle and Abermorddu areas.
It will take place on June 23 between 10am and 2pm at Caergwrle Masonic Hall.
It involves a regulation blood test taken by a qualified phlebotomist. The samples will be then sent to a laboratory for analysis.
The results will be sent to you by email or post within 7-10 days, and will provide advice if any further action is needed.
The scheme is being funded by Plas Teg Lodge and in association with the North Wales Masons and Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, a charity to promote prostate disease awareness and early diagnoses.
About one man in nine will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime, mostly affecting men over the age of 40.
Booking for this event is essential, and can be done by emailing morgantudor6898@gmail.com or by texting 07894684913.
