MOTORBIKES and a car were stolen in a spate of overnight burglaries in Flintshire.

Police said in the early hours of Friday (May 10) a house was broken into on Woodall Avenue in Saltney and a car, a Peugeot, was subsequently stolen.

On the same day, motorbikes were stolen from properties on Henry Wood Court and Scholars close in Saltney, also during the early hours, police said.

A North Wales Police spokesman said: "We were called at 3.38am May 10 to a burglary and a white Peugeot stolen from Woodall Avenue.

"Also, on the same day, there were early morning thefts of a motorbike in Henry Wood Court and Scholars Close."
