PLANS for a pair of new homes have been refused.
Flintshire Council received a planning application requesting permission to build two detached dwellings off the A548 in Ffynnongroyw, Tanlan.
A design and access statement submitted with the plans stated the homes would be three to four bedroomed detached dormer style bungalows.
It concluded the development of the site would "preserve and enhance" the character and appearance of the local area.
But the authority has now confirmed the plans have been refused by planning officers.
