A FLINTSHIRE road was partially blocked for five hours on Wednesday after a wall collapsed outside a house in Cefn-y-Bedd.
Highways staff spent time clearing brick debris after the wall adjoining a property on Wrexham Road near to the railway bridge was reported to have been hit in a "road traffic incident" around 6.30am.
North Wales Police said there was some "traffic disruption" in the village as the road was cleared.
Flintshire County Council says the damaged wall belonged to a property lining the A541.
The council's Chief Officer for Streetscene and Transportation Steve Jones said: “A private residence wall collapsed following a road traffic incident near the Hollybush pub on A541.
"The police initially coordinated traffic movements while operatives from the council attended to clear the carriageway. The road was free from obstruction from approximately 11.30am this morning and fully reopened to traffic.”
