A PERFORMING arts group has received hundreds of pounds in donations.
Two organisations have given financial support to Buzz-AH! - the Mold based performing arts group founded in 2002 to encourage people with and without disabilities to participate in music and dance.
The award-winning group has received £500 from community collections run by Mold Rotary Club over Christmas and £400 from hot food sales by Buckley Lions Club members at the town’s annual firework display in November.
The Rotary Club’s donation recognises the group’s success in creating a regular opportunity for its members to have fun together and for its contribution to the community.
Currently Buzz-AH! members are rehearsing for the group’s annual show at Theatr Clwyd on July 2 and 3 which will feature music and dance from top musicals including The Sound of Music, Rent and Sweet Charity.
