A POLICE officer was kicked into a dual carriageway in front of a HGV while making an arrest.
Shortly after 8.30pm on Friday night an arrest was being made on the A494, after a collision, when the assault on an officer took place.
A spokesman for the North Wales Police roads policing unit said: "One of our PC's was assaulted last night after a fail to stop collision.
"Vehicle later found in Ewloe. Driver and passenger uncooperative and one kicked the officer onto carriageway, narrowly avoiding a HGV.
"Both arrested for driving offences and assault police and remain in custody."
