Police on the scene at Gobowen after the incident
POLICE have launched a fresh appeal for witnesses after an incident in Gobowen left two people in a serious condition.
On Wednesday, March 20, an elderly couple were struck by a van on Old St Martins Road.
The collision happened at around 9.35am.
Both patients were taken to hospital after sustaining serious injuries.
Officers are now launching a further appeal for witnesses a week on from the incident.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team tweeted: "If you witnessed or have any info regarding this and haven't yet come forward, please call 101 and quote 136S 200319, thank you."
