A WOMAN from Brymbo kicked a police officer after she was ejected from a town centre nightclub.
North East Wales Magistrates Court heard how Jodie Anna Humphries was "kicking and screaming" as she was led out of ATIK on Brook Street at about 2am on March 10.
Police officers nearby intervened but Humphries, 30, continued struggling and she kicked out at Special Constable Thomas Harrison narrowly missing his groin.
Once inside a police car Humphries, of Chariot Drive, spat on the floor of the vehicle.
Pleading guilty to one charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker and one of criminal damage, Humphries was handed a 12 month conditional discharge and fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Deputy District Judge John Maxwell told her at the Mold court: "You are a young lady who is well educated so use that education and don't kick police officers.
"This is not acceptable behaviour and if you do it again you will find yourself back before me."
