FLINT Coastguard Rescue Team were called out to reports of a vessel stuck on rocks near Holywell.

The team was tasked by UK Coastguard to reports of the vessel adrift at Greenfield Dock, which was located at the bottom of the slipway.

The incident occurred on March 25 at about 12.50pm.

Due to the fast incoming tide a decision was made to attach a line to the vessel, then as it lifted with the tide to pull it around safely onto a mooring within the dock.

This was successfully completed by Coastguard Rescue Officers wearing water rescue PPE.

Holyhead CGOC updated and happy for team to stand down and return to station.
