TRIBUTES have been paid to a Wrexham man who died in a collision between a car and a lorry.
In the early hours of Wednesday, March 20, a car and lorry collided on the A5 between Gobowen and Gledrid.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, police have confirmed the man is believed to be Garat Hannan who was 32 and from Wrexham.
His family have paid tribute to him. In a statement issued by West Mercia Police, they said: "The whole family would like to thank the emergency services for the care and respect they showed to Garat at his last moment.
"Our hearts are broken our lives will never be the same again.
"A bright light has gone out. We'll never forget you Garat. We'll love and miss you forever xxx."
Police are continuing to appeal for information and are asking any witnesses to contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 09s 200319.
