STRONG WINDS from the tail end of Storm Gareth knocked over an elderly man near Bolingbroke Heights in Flint, on March 13.
An ambulance was called to the scene at approximately 9.45am on Wednesday morning by passers-by and witnesses who stayed with the victim in the harsh weather.
After receiving some treatment for head injuries at the scene, he was subsequently taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire, where he received stitches for his wounds.
Strong winds remain across Flintshire, with pedestrians and road users alike being urged to be cautious.
