COMMUNITY leaders want highways officials to take another look at a “dangerous” village road.

It follows a letter from a Gwersyllt resident to the community council about the condition of Summerhill Road from Pendine Park, Wrexham.

It was described as a dangerous, narrow highway with long stretches of the road without pavements which was particularly dangerous in the dark, especially with vehicles travelling at speed.

County Cllr David Griffiths described it as a “terrible road” which the council had tried to get improved over many years without success, but he supported the call to get Wrexham Council’s highways department to take another look at the problem road.
