WREXHAM-BASED music festival FOCUS Wale has announced a new partnership with Wales Arts International, Arts Council of Wales and BBC Horizons: Gorwelion to showcase the best new Welsh music artists at this year's famous SXSW event in Austin, Texas.
The FOCUS Wales team will be travelling to Austin to place the spotlight on the artists at the official FOCUS Wales at SXSW
showcase, which is set to take place on Wednesday March 13 at Swan Dive, Austin.
Among the acts chosen to play are Wrexham bands Gallops, Kidsmoke, Art School Girlfriend and Seazoo who will join Cardiff artists Boy Azooga and Darren Eedens and the Slim Pickin's at the world famous new music festival.
Andy Jones, FOCUS Wales co-founder and organiser of the FOCUS Wales stage at SXSW, said: “We’re so excited to be
presenting this line-up in Texas.
