MEN reportedly posed as water board employees in order to gain entry into a property as part of a burglary attempt.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Caergwrle last Monday afternoon.
At about 4.45pm, three males reporting to be working on behalf of the water board were allowed entry into a property.
While police have confirmed that these men were not legitimate water workers, fortunately they were disturbed and so nothing was taken.
