Redrow’s previous development in Penymynydd funded the new White Lion Nature Reserve.
CHRISTMAS has come early for local causes and organisations thanks to a community fund initiative.
Redrow Homes invited people and groups in or around Penyffordd, where its new Millstone View development is situated, to apply for financial assistance as part of a commitment to ensure that as neighbourhoods grow, communities continue to thrive.
The Penyffordd Community Fund earmarked £10,000 for projects in Penyffordd, Penymynydd and surrounding villages and 14 causes were eventually chosen to share the funds.
Some of the causes included, Penyffordd Lions, Penyffordd Run Club, St John the Baptist Church, Hope Community Library, Ramblers Cymru, St John the Baptist School and Penyffordd Junior Football Club.
