A LOTTERY ticket for £10,000 remains unclaimed in the Wrexham area.

One lucky Wrexham shopper will be could be on for a very merry Christmas, but so far the winning ticket remains unclaimed and it expires on Christmas Eve.

Health Lottery organisers have urged players in Wrexham and surrounding areas of Wales to hunt for the £10,000 Christmas golden ticket.

The ticket was bought in Sainsburys on June 27 but so far, no one has come forward to collect the winnings.

Time is ticking though as the ticket must be claimed by December 24, or the ticket will become invalid.

Martin Ellice from The Health Lottery said: “We are encouraging everyone who bought a Health Lottery ticket in Wrexham to check their bags, wallets and pockets for the winning ticket. Someone has won £10,000 and we must find them before Christmas Eve to share the fantastic news.”

The numbers played were: 2, 8, 10, 20, 30

The winning numbers were: 8, 10, 20, 22, 30, Bonus 2
