BARBER Samuel Adam McFarlane flew into a rage and hurled his partner’s iPhone against a wall.
But the couple were now reconciled, a court in Mold was told.
McFarlane, 31, of Westbourne Crescent in Buckley, admitted damaging the phone valued at £600 belonging to hairdresser Chantelle Kirsty Taylor at her home on October 21.
North East Wales Magistrates Court was told the phone had been replaced on insurance and McFarlane had paid the excess.
District judge John Maxwell said he was pleased the couple had reconciled and imposed a 12 month conditional discharge with £65 costs and a £20 surcharge.
Prosecutor Rhian Jackson said the couple had separated and the incident occurred when he returned for a meal with the complainant and their daughter.
David Matthews, defending, said good relations had been restored once more.
