Nomads failed to take maximum advantage of The New Saints' slip-up at home to Caernarfon Town on Friday night.
Scott Ruscoe's champions lost 1-0 to The Canaries at Park Hall where Noah Edwards was pulled down in the box by Ben Cabango, who was given his marching orders with a second yellow card with just four minutes on the clock.
Club captain Nathan Craig made no mistake from the spot to give Caernarfon a famous victory.
