THIEVES have targeted three shop premises in Flint.
Break-ins were made at the charity shop Age Connects, Shampoodles pet groomers and Vogue Hair Fashions all shortly before 6am yesterday.
While nothing was taken from Age Connects, the till containing about £60 was taken from inside of Shampoodles and £50 was taken from the till of Vogue Hair Fashions, as well as the till draws.
Also taken from Vogue were two hair straighteners, and vouchers worth between £70-£100.
All three properties suffered significant damage to the front of their shops as a result of the break-ins.
Damage caused to Shampoodles on Chester Road, Flint
Shampoodles and Vogue Hair Fashions are both located on Chester Road and Age Connects is on Swan Street.
Age Connects is a local charity which helps integrate elderly people into society and works with them to resolve any issues they may have.
Shampoodles suffered a similar break-in two years ago, where thieves took the jar of tips that their employees had been left.
Andrea Burns, owner of the shop, said: ''We were also targeted in August 2015, so I'm obviously very angry.
"While the money they have stolen isn't a huge amount, they caused a lot of damage to the main door of our shop and a lot of the money were tips belonging to our workers, one of whom is a trainee on an apprentice wage so needs these tips more than most.''
