A wanted man who taunted police via social media has been caught.

Jamie Worrall from Flint was wanted by North Wales Police in relation to a domestic assault on June 18.

He has since been located in Blackpool, Lancashire, and arrested.

A spokesman for the North Flintshire policing team said: "Yesterday the gauntlet was thrown down by Jamie Worrall who we circulated as wanted.

"He replied to our post saying 'Love you all from lee h and J'...well the first part was nice, he then said 'see yas soon'... correct... 'you lot will never catch us on your salsry'

"I think he meant salary, which is now safe, seeing as we caught him, in Blackpool, within 12hrs.

"Incidentally, the male known as Lee H was also arrested."

Officers posted the renewed appeal on social media on Tuesday in the hope of gaining new information leading to his arrest.
