A WORKER from Flintshire lost his temper and damaged three railway bins.
Chadleigh Thomas Prior, 34, ended up with a big court bill after he was ordered to pay £566 compensation to Arriva Trains Wales to pay for their replacement.
He admitted criminal damage at Prestatyn Railway Station on August 18 and was also fined £144 with £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
Prosecutor Justin Espie told North East Wales magistrates that an employee saw three bins were damaged on the platform and when the CCTV was checked, Prior cold be seen kicking them and pulling them over.
Interviewed, he said that he had a row with his girlfriend, he had been drinking and lost his temper.
He kicked out at the bins but he could not remember damaging three of them.
Fiona Larkin, defending, said he was struggling financially because he lived in Rhyl and travelled to Bagillt where he worked for an electrical company.
“He is extremely sorry for his behaviour,” she told the Mold court.
