THE PARENTS of a boy with a rare muscle wasting condition have held a celebratory fundraiser to to thank the efforts of people who have helped out.
Hannah Grindley and Craig Edwards set up Team Jenson to raise awareness of Muscular Dystrophy, the medical condition with which their son, Jenson Edwards suffers.
In recent weeks several members of Team Jenson have taken part in various fundraisers themselves in order to raise money, including auctioning themselves off to raise money for Jenson's gofundme page.
Over the weekend members of Team Jenson held a get together to thank everyone for their support. But in typical Team Jenson style, it was not straightforward.
Several friends and family of Jenson painted the countryside orange as they marched all the way from Moel Famau to Buckley, a journey of around nine miles.
After the trek the team convalesced at Buckley Cricket Club, where they enjoyed a five-a-side football match, a game of quick cricket along with a BBQ accompanied by a DJ as well as an awards ceremony to thank the fundraisers.
