A 'SIGNIFICANT' amount of class A drugs and a large amount of cash was discovered during a raid on a property in Wrexham.
Information from the local community led to the successful drugs warrant in the town yesterday.
Officers searched an address in Clos Owen, Whitegate, and recovered a significant amount of Class A and B drugs as well as a large quantity of cash.
DS Paul Kelly said: “Following complaints by members of the community in the area about blatant daytime drug dealing, local officers executed a search warrant yesterday afternoon.
“An 18 year old man was arrested for being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs and has since been released under investigation.
“I would like to thank the local residents of Whitegate and Caia Park for their support and patience. Drug dealing is unacceptable at any time, but even more so when it is made so obvious to passing members of the public throughout the day.”
