A truck collided with a bridge near Wrexham on Tuesday morning.
An eyewitness told the Leader that a truck carrying a digger appeared to have collided with the railway bridge over the A541 in Cefn-y-Bedd, causing congestion in both directions.
Twitter user @MairCollie also tweeted about the incident: "Avoid A541 Cefn-y-Bedd in Wrexham both ways. Truck stuck under the railway bridge!"
A spokesman for North Wales Police confirmed a call was received at 8.41am reporting that a lorry had got stuck driving Westbount under the bridge by the Hollybush Inn.
The road is now clear.
