An inquest opening has been held following the death of a man who was hit by a train.
Liam Alan Bateman, 27, of Medway Close, Gwersyllt, Wrexham, was struck by the 9.32 Bidston to Wrexham train and pronounced dead shortly after 11am on May 23.
At an inquest opening in Ruthin yesterday, John Gittins, senior coroner, North Wales east and central, gave a provisional cause of death as multiple crush injuries.
A full inquest will be held at a later date.
