STOLEN jewellery worth £15,000 could be on the market in Wrexham, police have warned.

Items were stolen from a property in Newtown, mid-Wales on Friday evening and Dyfed Powys police believe they could be sold on in either Wrexham or Shrewsbury

The jewellery taken includes five one-of-a-kind gold bangles, worth between £2,500 and £4,000 each, and one pair of diamond stud earrings, worth £2,000.

They were taken between 7.15am and 7.30pm on Friday.
