A Flintshire town celebrated its nationality while welcoming warmer weather during their 'spring into summer' festival this weekend.
Holywell Town Council have worked alongside Holywell businesses and charities to set up the first-of-its-kind spring event.
The town was filled with enthusiastic residents, as well as visitors from other towns, who took advantage of the numerous stalls, games, tombolas, and even listened to local bands singing from underneath the marquee in Tower Gardens on the high street.
The event was also an ample opportunity for local high street business, as well as organisations such as Carmel Women's Institute, to offer taster sessions and hold stalls to give locals an insight into what it is they do.
Natural Elements Acupuncture & Holistic Healing, who recently opened their new business in Tower Gardens, celebrated their official launch day by offering ten minute acupuncture sampling sessions to keen locals.
Businesses used the spring into summer festival to display their latest offers as well as engaging with current and potential customers.
Dozens turned up on the warm Saturday morning to Holywell high street, where youngsters were to be seen enjoying the "bucking bronko" bull fair ride while adults browsed the craft and food stalls.
Holywell Town Mayor, Cllr Joe Johnson was pleased with the turn out and said that the event was a great way to boost the town's tourism and trade.
