A MAN was taken to hospital after a car overturned on a country road.
Emergency services rushed to the A541 Denbigh to Mold road near Hendre after the accident involving a dark blue Vauxhall Vectra shortly after 2pm yesterday.
The 40 year-old man sustained back and shoulder injuries and was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for North Wales Ambulance Service: “An ambulance and rapid response vehicle were dispatched to the scene.” Police and a fire crew from Deeside also attended.
The accident occurred a short distance from where Charlotte Churchill, 19, from Wirral, died in a collision last month.
The young nursery worker from Wallasey was understood to have been returning home from a visit to North Wales when the vehicle she was travelling in crashed late on April 9.
Tributes to Charlotte remain at the scene of the crash six weeks after her death, while more than 6,000 people have joined an ‘R.I.P. Charlotte Churchill’ group on Facebook.
