A MAN who was found dead in a stream at a beauty spot has been named.
Mark Morgan, 43, of High Street, Connah’s Quay, was found in Wepre Park, Connah’s Quay, on Tuesday morning.
His family were too upset to talk yesterday.
A post-mortem examination is set to be carried out today before an inquest is opened.
His body was found before 9.30am and police cordoned off a section of the park as forensic officers tried to establish the circumstances of the death.
A canoe was taken away from the scene by park rangers and two dogs thought to belong to Mr Morgan were taken in by North Clwyd Animal Rescue, near Holywell.
North Wales Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
