INFORMATION about some rail services for Wrexham area passengers this weekend is inaccurate
The train company Wrexham and Shropshire says due to Network Rail problems with national timetable and ticketing systems that are beyond its control, publicly available information about Sunday’s rail service is incorrect.
This includes information on national websites as well as on station customer information screens. A spokesman said: “Passengers wishing to travel with Wrexham and Shropshire this weekend should rest assured that trains will definitely be running on Sunday. However our timetable may be subject to change.
“Any changes to services will be notified on our website. Customer services are available on 0845 260 5200 - Monday to Friday.”

The spokesman added: “Work is ongoing by Network Rail to ensure correct information is available as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers as a result of this problem.”
