WREXHAM MP Ian Lucas wants to meet council officers to discuss residents’ concerns over congestion around the Kingsmill Road area.
Mr Lucas has been contacted by constituents in south east areas of the town.
He is hoping to work with officers to examine the problems and find a solution.
He said: “I have noticed an increasing number of letters about the congestion in this area, which is one of the main routes into the town.
“While problems cannot be solved overnight, I do think it is important that the council is made aware of concerns being expressed in the area and I hope to meet with officers to put these concerns to them directly.
“I have also had concerns expressed to me about public transport services in the area and have taken these up directly with the companies involved.
“I would be interested in hearing from anyone else who is experiencing similar problems with traffic issues in these areas.”
Mr Lucas’s office can be contacted on 01978 355743.
