A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital with “serious” leg injuries following an accident in Flintshire.
Emergency services were called to B5121 Greenfield Street in Holywell, near the Well Street junction shortly before 9.30am this morning after an accident involving a van and a motorbike.
A man has been taken taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital with serious leg injuries.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “We were called to a two vehicle accident, involving a van and a motorcycle shortly before 9.30am.
“One person has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.”
The spokesman confirmed Greenfield Street has now re-opened in both directions.
A North Wales Ambulance service spokesman said: “We were called shortly before 9.30am this morning to reports of a road traffic accident involving a motorcyclist on New Road in Holywell.
“We sent two emergency ambulances and a basics doctor to the scene, and a man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with serious injuries.”
