A WINE-TASTING evening raised a lip-smacking £1,060 for the Babygrow Appeal.
Held at Tanners Wines in Chester, the event was organised by Julie and Buffy Swinnerton, who served up delicious canapes to compliment the wines being tasted.
Mathew Evans and Tiffany Vernon from Tanners educated the guests about the wines to be sampled, which included a selection of reds, white, rose and Cava.
Mathew said: “It was a pleasure hosting the evening and lovely to see so many enjoying the event.”
Kathy Kenney, community and events fundaiser: said: “Not only have they travelled all the way to Marrakesh on the Boom Banger Rally, arranged a lunch at Abode Hotel, Chester, but they have now organised a superb wine-tasting event.”
