KNIGHT James Wharmby (Jim) of Bradley and later, Garden Village, remembered as former Sub-Postmaster of Bradley, enthusiastic member of both Bradley Thursday Club and the George Formby Society as well as Captain of the Cunliffe Veterans Bowls Club. Jim passed away quietly and peacefully on 26th March 2024 at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, aged 94. Beloved husband of Myra, loving dad of Matthew and Karl, proud grandad of Russell, Kate and Ben and great-grandad of Callum, Jess and Max. Funeral service at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham on Monday 8th April 2024 at 1:30 pm. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be given in memory to the NSPCC.
