CANADIAN comedian Tom Stade returns to Mold as Theatr Clwyd's Comedy Club kicks off the new year in style.

Since arriving in the UK, the Canadian émigré has steadily earned a reputation as one of the most original and exciting stand-up talents around appearing on BBC One's Live At The Apollo, The John Bishop Show, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Channel Four's Comedy Gala, Stand Up For The Week and Dave's One Night Stand.

Tom tours internationally and performed at notable comedy festivals worldwide including New York, Aspen, Montreal, Toronto, Amsterdam, Kilkenny, Adelaide, Melbourne and New Zealand as well as regularly entertaining British troops overseas, from the freezing cold Falklands to Afghanistan and Iraq.

Supporting Tom is Ruth Cockburn who is a familiar face on the UK circuit and UK comedy festivals. A critically acclaimed writer, her solo shows have earned her numerous nominations and awards. With a very likeable stage persona, cleverly written material, with a slightly naughty twist. To top it off Ruth also throws in a couple of cleverly written, hilarious songs to make her set a laden with laughter.
