Her interests included Guide Dogs for the Blind, and she joined the Girl Guides organisation and became a devoted companion to Miss Joyce Dudley whom she used to drive to the multitude of meetings and Social evenings to which they were both invited. Margaret was an active member of the Wrexham Parish Church congregation, enjoyed the local History Group lectures and visits and was a member of the University of the Third Age. She was Girl Guides Division Commissioner for Wrexham East and later joined the Trefoil and became Vice president of the Wrexham Division. She was also a governor of two local schools and a member of AVOW as well as Age Connect and the Music Society. The loss of her friend Miss Joyce Dudley three years ago was a sad occasion but she prevailed and continued with her organisational work until her passing on 21st March this year.
