MERVYN THEODORE ROSENBERG FRCS Sadly died at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital on 9th May 2020 aged 86. Mervyn was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1934 and after completing his initial medical training at Wits University moved to London with his young family to qualify as a General Surgeon. Mervyn met his second wife, Katherine, at St Stevens' (now Chelsea and Kensington) Hospital where she worked as a theatre sister. After retiring from that role he went on to head AVOW, supporting the voluntary sector in Wrexham. He will be sadly missed by all his family, many friends and former colleagues. Mervyn was a true gentleman who left a lasting impression with AVOW in his time as a Trustee and Chair. His subtle humour would often bring meetings in line. Sadly missed and we share our thoughts with the family.
