WREXHAM fans have been told they will see the real Ben Tollitt after the winger extended his loan spell at The Racecourse until January 5.

Tollitt, who enjoyed a successful temporary spell at The Racecourse last term, has been unhappy with his and the team's form since arriving on an initial short term loan deal last month from Blackpool but he is determined to make amends.

"You have got to look at yourself individually as well," said Tollitt.

"Some of my performances have been okay. I came on at Notts County and felt like I affected the game positively.

"But there were games like Saturday where as a team and personally, it wasn't good enough.

"I am honest about my own game and I don't shy away, I won't make excuses. I wasn't at it on Saturday, and I don't think we have been as a team since I've some here so I don't know if I've brought a bit of bad luck!

"I have now got another three months or so to put that right, hopefully starting from now, and get back to what I was like last season.

"Hopefully that will help Wrexham."

Despite a frustrating start to his second stint with Wrexham, Tollitt is pleased to extend his stay.

"Already this loan has been done better than last year where I could only do month to month which was a bit frustrating," said Tollitt. "I can stay for a longer period which I am happy about.

"I said from the start that if I wasn't playing at Blackpool, this is one of the places I would want to come to."
