WREXHAM were unable to get back to winning ways as they lost 2-1 at home to Stockport County.

Two poorly defended goals gave the Hatters a 2-0 lead at the break at The Racecourse.

Bryan Hughes' side rallied in the second half and although substitute Leighton McIntosh scored a well-taken goal with five minutes remaining, it was too little too late and the Reds are now winless in four matches.

Here's how the players rated:

CHRISTIAN DIBBLE: Was at fault for the first goal before pulling off a couple of saves to keep Wrexham in it. 5

JAZZI BARNUM-BOBB: Got forward but often left exposed defensively when Stockport pressed. 5

SHAUN PEARSON: Did his best to hold the back-line together and was solid enough on a difficult day. 6

MICHAEL CHAMBERS: Had some shaky moments at the back, came close to a goal after the break. 5

MARK CARRINGTON: Good with the ball and made inroads down the left when he attacked. 6

LUKE SUMMERFIELD Some good passes and runs, and also hit the post with shot in the first half. 6

LUKE YOUNG: Put in a good shift and covered a lot of ground as he never stopped running. 6

BOBBY GRANT: Couldn’t fault effort and was unlucky not to score with second half shot cleared off the line. 6

DEVONTE REDMOND: Played behind the lone striker but didn’t have an impact and substituted 5

MARK HARRIS: Didn’t really get into the game and was unusually quiet. 5

JASON OSWELL: Worked hard but didn’t make an impression. 5

LEIGHTON MCINTOSH: Scored a well taken goal late on to give Wrexham hope. 6

BEN TOLLITT: Unlucky with a couple of chances. 6
