FREDDIE HINDS has joined Scott Burgess in returning to his parent club.

The striker joined Wrexham on a season-long loan deal from Bristol City in July but he failed to make an appearance for the Reds, being an unused substitute on a handful of occasions.

Wrexham have confirmed that Hinds' loan deal has been terminated by mutual agreement and he has gone back to the Championship club.

Midfielder Burgess signed for Wrexham on a three-month loan in August from Bury but he also found opportunities limited and has returned to the League Two side on the completion of his deal.
