TWO Wrexham players were recognised for their efforts after the Reds beat Gateshead 3-1 on Saturday to go top of the National League.
Centre-back Jake Lawlor was named in the official National League Team of the Weekend, while Luke Summerfield, who pulled the strings in midfield, earned a place on the substitutes bench.
Victory over the Heed extended Wrexham's unbeaten run to nine games and Sam Ricketts' side now hold a one point lead over Leyton Orient at the summit.
Next up for Wrexham is Sunday's FA Cup first round tie at National League South side Weston-super-Mare.
