IT wasn't a classic but Wrexham beat Maidstone United 1-0 at The Racecourse to get the promotion challenge back on track.

Bryan Hughes' side had lost the previous two games but winger Ben Tollitt, who has enjoyed a successful loan spell from Tranmere Rovers, marked his final game with the only goal.

Wrexham are third in the National League, one point behind leaders Leyton Orient who have two games in hand.
