WREXHAM are set for another bumper crowd when they face Chesterfield at The Racecourse on Saturday.

Bryan Hughes' side are back at home this weekend following a run of three successive away games in eight days, covering more than 1,200 miles and taking a healthy seven points from a possible nine.

That leaves the Reds unbeaten in five outings, with four under Hughes, and top of the National League with just 11 games to go.

Tickets are being snapped up by fans for the visit of the Spireites and Wrexham, who had a season-best attendance of 8,283 for the Boxing Day thrashing of Salford City, are heading for another big crowd.

The club tweeted: "Including away support and hospitality, we are almost 2,000 tickets ahead of schedule - tickets selling fast for Saturday.
