STUART BEAVON has been named in the The Non-League Paper's National League Team of the Day.
The 34-year-old striker came off the substitutes bench and scored the winner as Wrexham beat Dagenham and Redbridge 1-0 at The Racecourse on Saturday.
Beavon, and fellow sub Paul Rutherford, made a big difference following their introduction and helped promotion chasing Wrexham pick up three points in new manager Bryan Hughes' first game in charge.
Now up to third in the National League, Wrexham are only two points behind leaders Leyton Orient.
