WREXHAM beat Dagenham and Redbridge 1-0 at The Racecourse in new manager Bryan Hughes' first game in charge.
A few contenders for man of the match, with substitutes making an impact, but James Jennings edged it for me.
ROB LAINTON: Kicking unusually suspect at times but clean sheet not in doubt. 6
KEVIN ROBERTS: Sound at the back, could have got forward more. 6
JAKE LAWLOR: Odd pass went astray but fantastic in the heart of defence. 7
SHAUN PEARSON: Just as solid as his centre-back partner. 7
JAMES JENNINGS: Offered a lot on the left flank, defensively and going forward. 7
LUKE YOUNG: Worked hard and his saved shot led to Beavon's goal. 6
BRAD WALKER: Did his bit defensively but could have pushed forward more. 6
AKIL WRIGHT: Got into good positions but missed some good chances. 6
BOBBY GRANT: Came close to scoring just before half-time. 5
COLE STOCKTON: Didn't really get into the game. 5
BEN TOLLITT: Looked a threat when he had the ball on his first start. 7
STUART BEAVON: The super-sub put himself about and scored. 7
PAUL RUTHERFORD: Also made a difference when he came on. 7
MARK CARRINGTON: Only came on in the final minute. 4
