WREXHAM could unveil a new strikeforce against Bromley tomorrow night.

Cole Stockton has joined Wrexham on loan from Tranmere Rovers until the end of the season, just days after Jason Oswell signed from Morecambe.

The duo are in line to make their Wrexham debuts at Hayes Lane tomorrow night if international clearance is received.

Barrow is delighted to land Stockton, who came through the youth system at Prenton Park and enjoyed a prolific 2016-17 campaign while on loan at Morecambe and after returning to Tranmere.

That form caught the eye of Hearts where he spent the first half of the 2017-18 season before moving to Carlisle United, and he re-signed for League Two Tranmere in August.

"He is a lad that we have followed over time," said Barrow.

“Cole is a different type of striker to Jason Oswell and that gives me better options now.

"We have got a lot of good footballers at the club, attacking midfielders that need that type of striker to play off. Jason is more of a box player.

“Cole did very well in this division for Tranmere in his last spell there and he knows exactly what is required to challenge at the top end of the table.

“I’m delighted he’s here. Hopefully he’ll be available to play on Tuesday.”

Barrow is hoping his new additions help Wrexham start to fire in front of goal.

"You only have to look at the goals for column and we have to improve on that," said Barrow.

"If we can improve on that then we are in business."
